There is a story that goes along the lines of a guy who wanted to start a cola company. He started a brand called "3-Up." It failed. No big deal, he started a new company called "4-Up." It also failed. The guy didn't sweat it, and kept on going (and failing) until he finally reached "6-Up" and quit. Had he been persistent he would've had 7-Up.
Persistence is completely related to success.
